Mike and Robbie were happily married in 1977 and for 15 years and followed the “executive train” into all parts of the country. Raised in Iowa and married in Nebraska, they moved with Mutual of Omaha to Washington, General Mills to Minnesota and New York, Pepsi to Texas and Southern California. In their pursuit of the American Dream, which included two children, a house and a good job, their marriage began to strain and as they began to ask the question “Is that all there is?” their search led them to Jesus Christ. Their lives have radically changed since that day and they gratefullly gave up control of their lives to Him.

From there they went on to Disney in L.A. and then God brought them back to their roots in Omaha, Nebraska in 1994. As their love for the Lord deepened, they began to experience the fellowship of His suffering and through the loss of their moms and dads, friends and finally the loss of their 4th child Lexie.

As God changed their hearts and opened their eyes to the brokenhearted, he has given them opportunities to come alongside ministries and use the gifts learned in businesses and help ministries be strengthened. Some of those ministries include The Hope Center, Omaha, Nebraska, International House of Prayer, Kansas City, Kansas; Santa Barbara resources include: The Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, (where they currently teach weekly with the women), Habitat for Humanity, (Mike serves on the Board), and Life Network (Robbie serves on the Board); and Extreme Youth Community, Omaha, Nebraska (Robbie serves as a board member).

Mike and Robbie have been married 31 years and are currently living in Santa Barbara, California with their 12 year old son Christian. Their daughter Amber and her husband Eric live in Santa Barbara; and their son Dustin and his wife Britt live in Kansas City, Kansas.
